Forest Rights Act Support

The Department supports the implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, by verifying claims, demarcating boundaries and supporting Community Forest Resource (CFR) management plans.
