About this service
Permission for felling specified species of trees on private holdings, revenue land or institutional premises is granted under the relevant State Tree Preservation Act. Applications are processed by the local Range Forest Officer.

Eligibility
- Owner of the land or duly authorized representative
- Trees should not be of a notified protected species without justification
- No prior offence pending against the applicant
- Land record (7/12, ROR or equivalent) in applicant's name

- Recent photograph of trees to be felled
